This role will support the integration of LIMS, ELN and other computerized laboratory based platforms. It will bridge internal scientific personnel, technical personnel and outside vendor support. Applicant should have a strong scientific background and understand the Antibody discovery process (Screening, Engineering & Production). Ideally the candidate should have solid experience in Bioinformatics.


Initial project will be the implementation of Genedata LIMS for Biologics.

  • Direct interaction between Cambridge scientific staff, internal technical teams and Genedata.
  • Serve as project manager to scope, plan and lead the implementation in consultation with internal resources and Genedata.
  • Establish a collaborative relationship with internal staff and Genedata team.
  • Lead the information discovery effort to organize and document the needs of the laboratory staff and systems and all laboratory processes that will be built into Genedata LIMS.
  • Oversee any necessary data migration from legacy systems
  • Interface with Benchling (ELN & BioRegistry) and Genedata personnel to ensure compatibility and necessary integration between the two systems.

  • Experience implementing and managing enterprise laboratory information and data systems; particularly LIMS systems
  • Experience with using and administering enterprise ELN software
  • Confident using Microsoft Office programs included advanced excel skills
  • Technical writing including diagramming and visualizations
  • Familiarity with different database systems (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Amazon RDS, Amazon SimpleDB)
  • Ability to use APIs and SDKs to integrate systems
  • Scripting ability particularly as it relates to testing integrations
  • Ability to integrate local systems and cloud systems
  • MSc in Biology, Biotechnology, Immunology or Bioinformatics
